Tourism belongs to the branches of the economy with the long-term growth perspective.

130 lakes, countless rivers and large woodlands attract 4 million guests every year to the directly bordering south Berlin Dahme-Seengebiet and to Spreewald with its unique biosphere reserve.

Hotels, pensions, guesthouses and private quarters are available for any demand with the capacity of around 10.000 beds.
