In the district there are ideal location conditions both for the supply of the capital region and for the tapping the central and eastern European growth markets.

The biggest advantage is the transport infrastructure with the important, trans-European road communication axes (A10, A13), the capital airport BBI and the harbour Königs Wusterhausen. Modern industry and trade locations with the direct road and train connections complement the logistics-infrastructure.
